I’m Lori Goff, CPC, MA--parent, wife, parent coach, and preschool teacher. I’ve lived with my family in the beautiful Puget Sound region, nestled in the evergreen corner of the U.S. called the Northwest, for nearly twenty years. I have a positive attitude towards life, and this comes through during the coaching process. I feel great joy when working with parents and children.

My mission as a parent coach is to provide support, encouragement and compassion, so that each parent can align their everyday parenting decisions with their dreams for who they want their children and family to become! Throughout the coaching process, my clients learn how to develop mindful parenting skills, so they can bring their long-term goals closer to their present lives.

As a certified teacher in Washington state, my experience teaching children has provided me with the child development expertise necessary to be an effective parent coach. Also, I’m the parent of a preschooler, so my expertise has expanded to include parenting as well. I have the practical know-how when it comes to coaching of parenting infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Kindergarteners.

My Credentials

PCI Certified Parent Coach® through The Parent Coaching Institute, which provides a graduate-level certification program offered in collaboration with Seattle Pacific University.

I received my Master’s degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College. I have a specialized concentration in parenting infants and toddlers, early childhood education (preschool through first grade), brain development, and positive discipline. I also have a passion for helping parents move beyond personal obstacles that interfere with reaching their potential to parent with mindful intention in their day-to-day interactions with their children and families.

In addition, I hold a current ECE and K-8 teaching certificate in Washington State. In order to maintain my certificate, I regularly attend continuing education classes and have completed many courses, including a certificate in Brain Research in Education at the University of Washington, a telecourse on Teaching using Multiple Intelligences Theory (MIT) at Harvard University, and ongoing classes in parenting using positive discipline techniques.
